PROSCIUTTO CROSTINI

These simple appetizers made out of pieces of baguette and perfect toppings like prosciutto, figs, goat cheese are perfect for your next family party.

Ingredients

  • 1 large baguette white round French bread
  • 100 g prosciutto of your choice
  • 100 g creamy goat cheese
  • 5 fresh figs sliced
  • 1 tbsp parsley or arugula chopped
  • salt & pepper
  • ½ cup walnuts roughly chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  • Preheat oven on 350F/177C.
  • Cut the baguette (white round bread) diagonally, about 1" inch thick. Place it on baking sheet, covered with parchment paper.
  • With a kitchen brush, brush the olive oil, over the pieces of baguette & season with salt and pepper. Place slices of prosciutto, sliced figs, spread a bit of goat cheese and sprinkle with roughly chopped walnuts.
  • Place in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until cheese starts to melt and baguette is lightly golden brown.
  • Top with fresh parsley or arugula for the decoration.
