BAKED FIGS FILLED WITH GOAT CHEESE
Baked figs filled goat cheese are easy appetizer for summer parties or special occasions.

- 10 figs
- 200 g 1/2 cup goat cheese
- 10-15 walnuts roughly chopped
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 stash mini basil
- pinch salt to season
- pinch pepper to season
Wash and dry the figs, before manipulating with them.
Remove the stem on the figs and cut an X in figs, but go only until three quarters.
Fill each fig with 1 teaspoon of creamy goat cheese. Do so gently, because overripe figs tend to tear apart.
Drizzle with honey, season with salt and pepper.
At the end add few mini leaves from basil and add some chopped walnuts.
Bake in baking dish in preheated oven on 350F/177 C for 5-10 minutes.
Serve warm with baguette and good white wine.
